FULLMETAL JACKET

salam guys...
nak share something yg aku minat since aku dah jejak umur - umur remaja purba nih..
as some yg korang tahu..cik sam ni bekas budak wataniah..
so..dia punyer obses dgn guns and weapon mmg melamapu - lampau tahap dewa.
tak pasal - pasal aku pun terikut minat sama..
nak - nak baru ni plak aku terrajin tgk documentari pasal weapon kat History Channel
= LOCK N' LOAD with R.Lee Ermey
otai tua ni punyer tagline tiap kali dah guna those weapon aderlah: HOOORA!!

yup..as base knowledge..aku cume tahu pasal riffle, magnum n revolver jer.
yang lenlain aku tak bape tahu,.
sometimes aku ingatkan pumpgun tu cume sejenis jer.
 PUMP GUN

RIFFLE

REVOLVER

so..bila aku dah start  tengok citer nih..aku pun baru tahu ler..pistol ni macam - macam jenis..
peluru pun macam - macam jenis..
yang paling koman aku pernah dengar before aku reti sikit - sikit pasal pistl - pistol n senapang ni antaranya senapang patah, peluru tabur.
tu klu kat kampung - kampung mesti pakcik - pakcik yang ade kebun ade satu kat rumah.
nak tembak tupailah..monyetlah..

bercakap pasal peluru ni..
baru aku tahu..kalau nak bagi peluru tak cair dalam pistol/senapang kita..sometimes manufacture buat peluru tu sort of alas or pelapik cam jaket.
reason selain dari takmo peluru cepat cair, nak bg senang keje takyah rajin2 bersihkan lubang senapang selalu!!
ekekekkee..(gitulah pulok!!)
kat bawah ni aku cnp dari wiki.
by the way..some other way jugak baru aku tahu bullet ni leh panggil as ammo.
ceh ayu..memang bebal sungguh kau!!

A full metal jacket (or FMJ) is a bullet consisting of a soft core (usually made of lead) encased in a shell of harder metal, such as gilding metal, cupronickel or less commonly a steel alloy. This shell can extend around all of the bullet, or often just the front and sides with the rear left as exposed lead. (A bullet that is completely enclosed by the shell is alternatively termed a total metal jacket round.) The jacket allows for higher muzzle velocities than bare lead without depositing significant amounts of metal in the bore. It also prevents damage to bores from steel or armor-piercing core materials. The appearance of FMJ ammunition is highly distinctive when compared to hollow-point or soft point bullets. Historically, the first successful full metal jacket rifle bullets were invented by captain Eduard Rubin of the Swiss Army in 1882.

Disadvantages

Full metal jacketed bullets have different ballistic properties, both in terms of behavior inside the barrel of the gun and also in flight. Whereas hollow point and soft-tipped bullets are designed to expand upon impact, fully metal jacketed bullets are technically limited in mechanisms to increase round expansion. In some cases this leads to smaller target damage although not in all instances.

FMJ with variable cores

Some designs of FMJ rifle ammunition inflict more destructive gunshot wounds than others. Not all FMJ bullets contain a simple lead filling. Here are some examples:
Although British Mark 7 .303 ammunition is compliant with the terms of the Hague Convention, it creates more destructive gunshot wounds than standard spitzer bullets due to its internal design. The centre of gravity of the Mark 7 bullet is deliberately shifted towards the rear. This is achieved by constructing the front third of the interior of the bullet from a lighter material such as aluminium or wood pulp. The result is a tail-heavy FMJ bullet which yaws violently after hitting the target.
American 5.56mm NATO FMJ ammunition has a much thinner jacket than others. As a result the bullet may yaw and fragment by fracturing along the cannelure, which is the groove running around the circumference of a bullet and is used to crimp it to the cartridge case.
Russian 5.45x39mm FMJ ammunition uses a tail-heavy bullet which has a tendency to yaw after hitting the target.
German 7.62x51mm NATO FMJ has an unusually thin cannelure. When the bullet hits the target it fractures along the cannelure and fragments, causing massive tissue damage as per the 5.56x45 mm NATO bullet but on an even larger scale.

tapikan jugak..kalau mention pasal fullmetal jacket ni..krang mesti terpikr pasal moviekan?

betul tak?
samalah dengan aku.
memang mati - mati aku ingat fmj ni movie jer..
tapi ghupe - ghupenyer..
ekekekkeke..
apepun..
proses pembelajaran bukan sekadar dari menoton atau membaca..
mencari pun iya jugak..
sharing is caring yer guys..
tapi jangan plak pikir aku ni menyokong keganasan sebab citer pasal weapon nih..
cume...aku suke kenapa sesuatu benda tu berfungsi dari segi sainsnya.
pernah tak korang terpikir camner pistol tu berfungsi?
wei..sesape yg terer fizik..meh habaq kat aku!!
